I would like the url/domain to be mine and somehow linked

Once you sign up with ScholarLMS, it creates a URL which may look something like this example.scholarlms.com where ‘example’ is the name of your institution/school/university. We highly recommend to map your ScholarLMS URL to something of your own web domain or sub-domain. You can easily send custom domain request to our support team by following these four steps:

  1. Login to your ScholarLMS (as an admin)
  2. Go to My account
  3. Now go to “Use Custom Domain” tab and type the URL where you want ScholarLMS to be mapped
  4. Follow the on screen instructions.

Does ScholarLMS supports other languages?

Yes, ScholarLMS supports over 100 languages. You can install a language pack by taking these three steps:

  1. Login to ScholarLMS account (as an admin)
  2. Now browser to Administration > Site administration > Language > Language packs.
  3. Simply select the languages you require from the list of available language packs and click on the “Install selected language pack” button.

How does your live chat, email and phone support work?

Live Chat: Live chat is now available between 09:00AM to 05:00PM GMT from Monday to Friday. We are working hard to extend available live chat hours.

Email Support: You can email us at support@scholarlms.com at anytime and we will get beck to you within 24-48 business hours. And while we say 48, usually we are much quicker than that!

Phone Support: Phone support is only available to PRO accounts.

I have some customization requirements. Can you help?

Depending on the nature of your business, it is likely that you may need a custom design and special features. You can request our team for custom development specifically for your requirements. Please get in touch with us for any such request.

What do you mean by active and registered learners?

For a particular month, an active learner is the learner who logged in to your account at least once. We count these learners as active
learners. If they are not active, your account will not be billed for these users.

The registered learners are the total number of learner accounts who ever registered to your LMS.

What will happen to the data in my account when I upgrade/downgrade?

All of your data will stay as it is.

How can I have online classroom feature? What platform supports this feature?

Online classroom comes as an inbuilt feature with all ScholarLMS’s plans. If you have not taken an online classroom plan then it is going to be limited to 1 presenter and 2 attendees and you won’t be able to use Record and playback feature.

Online classroom is a web browser supported feature, we recommend FireFox or Chrome for running stable classes.

Is it possible to sell my courses?

Yes, absolutely! If you plan to sell your courses or classes using ScholarLMS, e-commerce is going to be an important part of the learning management system. The e-commerce module enables you to accept payments from your students in a safe and easy manner. A powerful e-commerce module is seamlessly integrated into ScholarLMS to give you and your users a smooth and effortless experience of purchasing and enrolling to courses. Who keeps the copyrights to a requested feature?

Any suggestions towards the enhancement of ScholarLMS that you submit will become the property of ScholarLMS. We may use this information for any business purposes, without restriction, including but not limited to, product support, development and marketing initiatives. However, that said, we will never use the information in a form that personally identifies you in any way.

How to get started with ScholarLMS?

Getting started with ScholarLMS is easy, just sign up from the register page. Currently we offer two types of accounts

  1. FREE account
  2. PRO accounts.

Can I start with a free account?

Yes! You just need to sign up with Startup plan and you are good to go. For more details, please visit our plans and pricing page.

What is the “Institution” field on the sign-up page?

Institution name will be included in your LMS URL and will also be your username. So, please use the name of your institution, school, company or group. You might want to avoid any personal name like Michele or Adam.

What is the trial period for testing a PRO plan?

ScholarLMS’s all PRO plan starts with a 30 day TRIAL period. Although the system will ask for your credit card information while signing up but your credit card will be charged only once the trial period is over.

Do you have any special plan for non-profit organizations?

As a principle, ScholarLMS team supports organizations choosing to share their knowledge with people for free. ScholarLMS goes an extra mile for supporting non-profit organization/institutes. We have special plans and offers for such institutes. Click here to know more.

Do I need to enter my credit card details to try any paid plan?

Yes! You will start with a free 30 day trial period. Your credit card will be charged once the trial period is over. An added benefit to start with one of the FREE 30 Days trial plan over Startup plan is that you will get Starter Pack for free. Here our team will do all the basic account setup to get you started.

Can I upgrade/downgrade or cancel a plan at anytime?

Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Meanwhile, if you ever decide that ScholarLMS doesn’t fit to your business, simply cancel your subscription from your account.

What modes of payment do you accept?

Currently we accept major Credit Cards and Paypal. However, if you wish to make payments by any other means, please contact us.
